Just installed this on my 2013 today. It went a whole lot easier once I added a few of my own steps and took the seat off, removed the 4 bolts that hold the side panels on, and removed the taillight and side panels as one unit. Then the so called ‘hidden’ screw was a snap, and 2 of the screws on the taillight were a lot easier to remove.
