This 6-spoke design with a double-section profile was drawn straight from OZ Racing experience. The special care that went into choosing this unique Magnesium alloy and the surface- and heat-treatment ensures a perfect combination of stiffness were required and the desired rim flex as preferred by both the world’s top riders and those enthusiasts who want the most from their bike. Wheels are interchangeable with the stock version.
The unique net shape forging means that the solid shape of the wheels is incorporated in the forging process, this allows the grain of the material to flow closer to the final shape ensuring a super strong wheel even when machined incredibly light. The wheels are then heat treated and shot peened to further its surface strength.
