Kawasaki Racing Team (World Superbike)
The Kawasaki Racing Team made significant strides in the 2010 season and with an all-new Ninja ZX-10R machine already proving to be a big step forwards, global expectations are even higher for 2011. 2010 season official riders Chris Vermeulen and Tom Sykes remain in what will now be a three rider line-up, as the overall effort has expanded to include proven World Supersport Championship star Joan Lascorz.
2010 season official riders Chris Vermeulen and Tom Sykes remain in what will now be a three rider line-up, as the overall effort has expanded to include proven World Supersport Championship star Joan Lascorz.
The trio of Kawasaki WSBK riders experienced very different seasons last year, with Sykes having the least interrupted year of competition, culminating with him taking pole at Imola, chasing podiums in the latter stages of the season, and winning BSB races during a one-off appearance at Brands Hatch. Both Vermeulen and Lascorz had to overcome long-term injury in 2010, but are each raring to go in what will surely be the most exciting season of WSBK competition for Kawasaki in many years.
Riders:
