GEICO Powersports RMR Suzuki
GEICO Powersports RMR Suzuki fields 2009 champion Danny Eslick in AMA Pro Daytona SportBike competition. The new team took the series by storm, winning the first-ever Daytona SportBike championship last season. Former racer Richie Morris' squad has switched to Suzuki machinery for 2010 and has once again been a factor in the Daytona SportBike races. The distinctive yellow-liveried RMR bike is a fan favorite with the dynamic Eslick at the controls.
The team, in conjunction with Team Roadracingworld.com Suzuki, also fields rising star Elena Myers in AMA Pro SuperSport with primary sponsorship from Lucas Oil. "The Elena Project" has given the 16-year-old Californian a chance to begin her professional career on competitive machinery. Three rounds into the 2010 season she had already become the best-finishing woman in AMA Pro Road Racing history with a fourth-place finish at Auto Club Speedway, a fifth-place finish at Road Atlanta and a pair of seventh-place finishes at Daytona.
